Week 11, 12 & 13

We learned about VDMX, which is a professional VJ software. Experimented with a number of cool effects here and there!

We didn’t get to discuss much about our project this week since we were busy with other module assignments but we were sure about making use of VDMX5 and Makeymakey for our final assignment. Unlike Scratch, VDMX was so much better, which is great because we were able to hardware toggle the keys in the software to match with Makeymakey.

We asked our lecturer whether there was a way on how to export/screen record VDMX5 since we had similar experiences where we were very confused in how to export TouchDesigner for Project 2. So the steps were: Workspace- plugins- movie recorder- video code: h264- movie recorder- press. Video- start recording.
